Paul O'Grady  Mesa 2021 Elite Head Coach
Paul O’Grady is a Villanova grad and former Philadelphia Wing and has had much success in the coaching ranks having coached for the last 24 years at Episcopal Academy, Malvern Prep and for the last seven years at The Haverford School where he led the defense and helped the team to a 29-0 record and a National Championship in 2011. Recognized as one of the top defensive coaches in the game, O’Grady is a Wings World Champion and Haverford School Hall of Famer.

Scott Gabrielson  Mesa 2021 Elite Assistant Coach
Scott Gabrielsen partners with his former Wings teammate and jointly leads while focusing on offense. Coach Gabrielsen’s recent coaching success has been championship seasons at both the U13A and U15A levels for West Chester Youth Lacrosse in the Chester County Lacrosse Association. Coach Gabrielsen brings a wealth of playing experience to the coaching ranks as a High School and College All-American. He earned five championship rings with the Wings and has been recognized for his playing career by being a 5 time Hall of Famer.

Jake Peden  Mesa 2021 Elite Assistant Coach
Jake graduated from Downingtown High School in 2015 where he was an All-American and league MVP at defense. He continued his career at the University of North Carolina where he graduated in 2019.

Jake graduated from Downingtown High School in 2015 where he was an All-American and league MVP at defense. He continued his career at the University of North Carolina where he graduated in 2019.


Travis Loving  Mesa Futures Orange 2023 Head Coach 
Travis Loving is currently an assistant coach at Severna Park in Maryland. He served as the defensive coordinator and goalie coach at The Haverford School for 18 years. Coach Loving played goalie collegiately at Army for legendary coach Jack Emmer where he served as the team’s captain in 1996 and was a 3-time All-Patriot league selection. Coach Loving has coached 38 high school All-Americans, 10 Division I goalies, 11 Inter-Ac title teams, 5 Inter-Ac tournament title teams, 1 state championship team in 2005, and 2 undefeated national championship teams in 2011 and 2015.

Ron Garling  Mesa Futures Orange 2023 Offensive Coordinator
Ron is the Offensive Coordinator at Cabrini University who just won the DIII National Championship. Prior to Cabrini, Coach Garling spent seven years as a Division I assistant, with five years at High Point University and two years at Lafayette College. While at High Point, Ron helped lead the team to the 2015 Southern Conference Championship and the school's first NCAA tournament. A graduate of Drexel University, he was a three-year starter as an attackman. A 2005 graduate of Ridley High School, Garling was a member of the 2003 state championship team.

​Mike Rufo  Mesa Futures Orange 2023 Assistant Coach
Mike graduated from The Haverford School in 2008 where he played midfield. Coach Rufo continued his career at Scranton University. He currently teaches at the Boys Latin Charter School of Philadelphia where he started the school's lacrosse program. Coach Rufo has coached for Mesa for six years.

Tom Slate  Mesa Futures Orange 2023 Defensive Coordinator
Tom currently serves as an assistant coach at Episcopal Academy. Prior to that, he served as the head coach at Downingtown East where he became the first person in Pennsylvania history to win a state championship both as a player and head coach. He has over 20 years of coaching and playing experience in the Major League Lacrosse and National Lacrosse League.
Chris 'Hup' Hupfeldt  Mesa Futures Orange 2024 Co-Head Coach  
Hup Hupfeldt graduated from The Haverford School in 2011 where he played attack for the 2011 National Championship team. Coach Hupfeldt played in college at UPENN. He has coached Mesa for four years.

Conor Kelly  Mesa Futures Orange 2024 Co-Head Coach
Connor graduated from The Haverford School in 2011 and was the starting goalie on Haverford's first National Championship team. Conor played collegiately at Norte Dame.

Peter Borror  Mesa Futures Orange 2024 Assistant Coach
Peter graduated from The Haverford School in 2008 where he was a 2-time All-American defenseman, a member of the Under Armour All-American Team, and the Delco player of the year in 2008. Peter coaches the defense at The Haverford School for the past three years. Coach Borror has coached Mesa for seven years.

Michael O'Grady  Mesa Futures Orange 2024 Assistant Coach 
Michael graduated from the Roxbury Latin in 2017 and currently plays defense at Providence College. ​​​

Jim Taviano Mesa Futures Orange 2024 Assistant Coach 
Jim is an experienced youth coach working with the BYC program. Coach Taviano has coached Mesa for four years.
Keith Belson  Mesa Futures Orange 2025 Head Coach
Keith Belson graduated from Strath Haven in 2007 and continued his career at St. Joe's University, where he was a four-year starter at LSM, graduating in 2011. He has coached at Strath Haven, Marple Newtown, and Haverford College. He currently serves as an assistant varsity coach at The Haverford School. Outside of lacrosse, he is a teacher at Marple Newtown.

Jeremy Hart  Mesa Futures Orange 2025 Assistant Coach 
Jeremy Hart is a current faculty member and junior varsity lacrosse coach at The Haverford School.  A former two-way midfielder from the Peddie School, he comes from a two year coaching tenure at the St. Paul’s School in Baltimore, MD, in addition to coaching for the Kooper’s Lacrosse and Greene Turtle Lacrosse club programs.

Chandler Todd  Mesa Futures Orange 2025 Assistant Coach 
Chandler Todd grew-up in Cincinnati where he played defense at St. Xavier High School. He continued his career at Haverford College, graduating in 2018. Chandler currently coaches the junior varsity team at The Haverford School.
Mark Petrone  Mesa Futures Orange 2026 and 2028 Orange Coach
Mark currently serves as the offensive coach at Radnor High School, where he led his team to the state semi-finals in 2019. Mark served as the offensive coach at The Haverford School for 17 years. Coach Petrone played collegiately at Gettysburg College and spent 4 seasons as a college coach at Franklin & Marshall College and Lynchburg Colleges. In the high school ranks he has coached 32 high school All-Americans, 11 Division I face-off men, 9 Inter-Ac title teams, 4 Inter-Ac tournament title teams, 1 state championship team in 2005, and 2 undefeated national championship teams in 2011 and 2015.

Jon Borror  Mesa Futures Orange 2026 Assistant Coach 
Jon graduated from The Haverford School in 2006, where he helped guide the team to a state championship in 2005 at defense. During his senior year, he was a Pennsylvania All-American, Under Armour All-American, and Delco Player of the Year. He played collegiately at UVA and Rutgers.  He currently serves as an assistant coach at the Boy's Latin School in Philadelphia. He has coached Mesa for six years.

Drew Supinski  Mesa Futures Orange 2026 Assistant Coach 
Drew graduated from The Haverford School in 2015. He served as the team’s captain and is one of the best two way middies in Haverford School history. Coach Supinski was a member of the 2016 U19 USA team as a midfielder. Coach Supinski has coached Mesa for four years.

Tyler Kopen  Mesa Futures Blue 2026-27 Head Coach 
Tyler graduated from Lower Merion High School in 2012, where he played attack and midfield. Tyler continued his career at Onondaga Community College, where he helped the Lazers win two NJCAA national championships. After his two years there, he transferred to Florida Southern College where he earned 2nd team all-conference during his senior season.

Tommy Riley  Mesa Futures Blue 2026-27 Assistant Coach 
Tommy grew-up in Los Angeles, CA where he coached the Silverfin Lacrosse Club and the Los Angeles Cobras Lacrosse Club. He is a current senior at Villanova and serves as a the Defensive Coordinator for Radnor's Junior Varsity team. He is a member of the Greek National Lacrosse Team which earned a top 20 world ranking during the 2018 FIL Lacrosse Championship.
Mike Morsell  Mesa Futures Orange 2027 Head Coach
Mike attend LaSalle College High School and played collegiately at the University of Maryland. Mike is known as a leader in coaching youth lacrosse in the Philadelphia area.

Chris Sabia  Mesa Futures Orange 2027 Assistant Coach
Chris graduated from The Haverford School in 2015, which won the High School National Championship by going 26-0. He continued his career at Penn State. He started all four years, served as captain during his senior year, earned Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year, and was a 1st Team All-American.
Mark Petrone  Mesa Futures Orange 2028 Head Coach

Chris Donovan  Mesa Futures Orange 2029 Assistant Coach 
Chris attended Seton Hall Prep and The Hun School for a post graduate year. While at Hun, he was selected as the Prep Boys' Player of the Year in 2015. He then attended Villanova University and served as a team captain in 2019.

Andrew Gallahue  Mesa Futures Orange 2029 Assistant Coach 
Andrew attended St. John's Prep and Choate for a post graduate year. While at Choate, he was the runner-up for the best attackman in Western New England. He then played at Villanova University, graduating in 2019.
Goalie Coaches
Carson Cocco

Carson graduated from Malvern Prep in 2014 and was the goalie for the Friars in their 24-0 season. He was named the Inter-Ac Invitational Championship game MVP. Carson continued his lacrosse career at Quinnipiac University where he was part of the first team in school history to win a NCAA tournament game. As a starter, he helped give Quinnipiac its first win over a top 20 program.

Alex deMarco
Alex graduated from The Haverford School in 2016. He is one of the few goalies in Haverford history to start since his freshman year. Coach deMarco currently plays for UPENN.

Enrique Hervada
Enrique played goalie at Malvern Prep and Villanova. He has coached at Malvern Prep, Radnor Youth Program, and for the very first Philadelphia Fever team. His two sons both went to The Haverford School - Jake who graduated in 2015 and currently plays at Delaware and Chris graduates in 20187 and will continue at Monmouth.

Parker Henderer
Parker graduated from The Haverford School in 2017 where he started in goal. Coach Henderer will continue his career at Cornell.

Face-Off Coaches
Jake Hervada
Jake graduated from The Haverford School in 2015 where he was a member of the national championship team. Coach Hervada currently faces-off for the University of Delaware.

Liam O’Connor  Face-Off Coach
Liam graduated from The Haverford School in 2010. He played lacrosse at Notre Dame, graduating in 2014, where he was one of the top face-off players in the country.

Joel Trucksess Face-Off Coach
Joel graduated from The Haverford School in 2017. Coach Trucksess will continue his career at Lehigh.


Other Coaches
Dox Aitken
Dox graduated from The Haverford School in 2016 where he served as the team’s captain. He as Player of the Year in the Inter-Ac and an Under Armour All-American. Coach Aitken is a current member of the U19 USA team. Coach Aitken currently plays at Virginia.

Grant Ament 
Grant graudated from The Haverford School in 2015. He served as the team’s captain and the lead the team in points. Coach Ament started as a freshman at attack for Penn State this year.

Connor Black
Connor graduated from The Haverford School in 2014 where he played long pole midfield and served as one of team’s captains. Coach Black currently attends Penn State.

Peter Blynn
Peter graduated from The Haverford School in 2014 where he played midfield and served as one of team’s captains. Coach Bynn currently plays at Harvard. Coach Blynn has coached Mesa for three years.

Drew Brady
Drew Brady played attack at Penncrest High School graduating in 2007. Coach Brady was all-state during his junior and senior years and Central League MVP and All-American during his senior year. He is the all-time leading scorer in Penncrest history. He played in college at Stevenson University. He has coached Mesa for four years.

Mark Campanile
Mark graduated from West Chester Rustin in 2015 where he was the second leading scorer in school history. Coach Campanile currently plays attack/midfield at UMass Lowell. He has coached Mesa for three years.

Ian Davies
Ian graduated from Germantown Academy in 2015 where he was a three year starter in goal. Coach Davies currently plays at Roanoke. Coach Davies has coached for Mesa for three years


Mike DelGrande
Mike has been involved with youth and high school lacrosse for the past 30 years. He previously served for 8 years as Athletic Director and Boys Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. Prior to Springside Chestnut Hill, he spent 20 years as the Head Boys Lacrosse Coach for the Bullis School in Maryland. During his time at Bullis, he was named US Lacrosse/Potomac Chapter – Coach of the Year and Man of the Year. DelGrande was elected into the USILA/Potomac Chapter Hall of Fame in 2010.

Jack Doran 
Jack graduated from The Haverford School in 2015. He served as the team’s captain and was the team’s top long stick midfielder. He started at defense for Dickinson this year. Coach Doran has coached Mesa for four years.

Brad Garcia
Brad graduated from Germantown Academy in 2013 where he was a two year starter and the captain of the team. He played collegiately at Ursinus College, graduating in 2017. He currently coaches at Springfield High School and has coached Mesa for four years.

Vince Garman
Vince graduated from The Haverford School in 2011 where he played defense for the #1 team in the country. Coach Garman played at the University of Delaware. Coach Garman has coached Mesa for four years.

​Foster Gilbert
Foster graduated from The Haverford School in 2002, and played both midfield and attack for the Fords from 8th grade through his senior year. He earned All American honors in both his junior and senior seasons, won five straight Inter-Ac titles, as well as being a member of the 2000 PA State Championship team. He went on to play at Virginia where he played both midfield and attack. He was a member of of the 2003 and 2006 ACC Championship teams, as well as a two time NCAA National Champion in the same years. Coach Gilbert's coaching career began while still at UVA, participating in the summer camp programs. He has gone on to coach at the high school level in California, Colorado, and The Haverford School. 

Tyler Gilbert
Tyler is currently the head coach at St. Joe's Prep. As a player, he is the only person in NCAA history to win a Division III (Washington College) and a Division I (Virginia) National Championship in back-to-back years. He has over a decade of coaching experience in southern California and St. Louis.

Dennis Goldstein
Dennis is one of the best players to have every played at the University of North Carolina. He was player of the year in 1991 as an attackman.

John Haldy
John graduated from the Haverford School in 2007 where he played both midfield and attack. He continued his career at Virginia, graduating in 2011, where he served as co-captain and won a national champioinship in his senior year.

Bobby Hill
Bobby graduated from Malvern in 2010 where he was a 2-time All-American midfielder and a captain during his senior year. Coach Hill played collegiately at the University of Virginia where he was a four year starter as a defensive midfielder. He won a national championship during his freshmen year and earned honorable mention All-American honors and served as the team's captain during his senior year. From 2014 to 2016, he served as an assistant coach at Carona Del Mar High School in Southern California. 

Reilly Hupfeldt
Reilly graduated from The Haverford School in 2013 where he played attack. Coach Hupfeldt currently plays at UPENN. Coach Hupfeldt has coached Mesa for three years.

Aaron Lovenworth
Aaron was a 3 year starter at The Haverford School and team captain his senior year, 2 time All-State Defenseman and 2000 Pennsylvania State Champion. He played college lacrosse at Hobart College where he was a member of a top defensive unit and appeared in the Division I NCAA tournament. Aaron currently serves as an assistant coach at the The Haverford School.

Will McNamara
Will attended The Haverford School and was ranked as the No. 1 midfielder in the country and third overall recruit. He was an Under Armour All-American and two-time ESPNU All-American during his high school career where he was also a standout on the basketball court and soccer field.

He went on to become a team captain at the University of Virginia and appeared in 43 of the team’s 45 games as an SSDM from 2015-17. He helped guide the Cavaliers to the NCAA Tournament in 2015 and graduated from Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in English during the spring of 2017. He is currently pursuing an MBA in finance from Saint Joseph’s University’s Erivan K. Haub School of Business where he will graduate from that program in the spring of 2019. During his final season of college eligibility, McNamara joined the Hawks’ where he helped guide the team to a runner-up finish in the NEC Tournament and earned NEC All-Tournament honors as a regular in the midfield.


Connor Mosebrook
Connor graduated from The Haverford School in 2017 where he played midfield. Coach Mosesbrook currently plays at F&M.

Shaun Miller
Shaun recently completed his first season as an assistant coach with the Haverford College men’s lacrosse program. Prior to Haverford, he served as head coach of the Westtown School. He led that team to the Friends Schools League Championship finals during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Coach Miller has coached Mesa for three years.

Rory O’Connor
Rory graduated from The Haverford School in 2008 where he played attack. Coach O’Connor played at Connecticut College and the University of Vermont. Coach O’Connor currently coaches The Haverford School’s junior varsity team. Coach O’Connor has coached Mesa for three years.

Casey O’Rourke 
Casey graduated from The Haverford School in 2005 where he played attack. He was an All-American, Main Line Life Player of the Year, Inter-Ac Player of the Year, team MVP, MVP of the state championship game, and captain of the 2005 state championship team. He continued his college career at UPENN where he played in every game of his college career. He has coached for HEADstrong and Chestnut Hill College. Coach O’Rourke has coached Mesa for four years.

Keyveat Postell
Keyveat Postell graduated from The Haverford School in 2016. He started at attack and led the team in points. He will continue his career at UPENN.

Cory Richards
Cory graduated from The Haverford School in 2015 where he played attack for the #1 team in the country. Coach Richards currently plays at Dickinson College.

Brandon Shima
Brandon graduated from The Haverford School in 2015. He started at attack/midfield for the #1 team in the country during his senior year. Coach Shima currently plays at Michigan.

Forry Smith
Forry graduated from The Haverford School in 2016. He served as one of the team’s captains and led the team in points. He was 1st team All Inter-Ac and an Under Armour All-American. Coach Smith currently plays at Johns Hopkins. Coach Smith has coached Mesa for three years.

Frankie Spitz  
Frankie graduated from The Haverford School in 2016 where he played defense. Coach Spitz currently plays at Bates College. He has coached Mesa for three years.

Matt Tulane
Matt graduated from Garnet Valley High School in 2013. Coach Taulane played midfield at Bellarmine University. Coach Taulane has coached Mesa for four years.

Morgan Young
Morgan graduated from The Haverford School in 2008 where he played attack. Coach Young continued his career at Franklin and Marshall. He has coached for Mesa for six years.
