He has coached at Strath Haven, Marple Newtown, and Haverford College. He currently serves as an assistant varsity coach at The Haverford School. Outside of lacrosse, he is a teacher at Marple Newtown. He has coached Mesa for two years. Jeremy Hart - Mesa 2025 Assistant Coach Jeremy Hart is a current faculty member and junior varsity lacrosse coach at The Haverford School. A former two-way midfielder from the Peddie School, he comes from a two year coaching tenure at the St. Paul’s School in Baltimore, MD, in addition to coaching for the Kooper’s Lacrosse and Greene Turtle Lacrosse club programs. He has coached Mesa for three years. MARYLAND
Willie Downs - 2024 Head Coach Willie graduated from Arundel High School in 2005, where he played midfield and served as the team's face-off man. He continued his career at AACC, where he led his team to a Final Four appearance. He then played for the Towson Lacrosse Club, where he graduated in 2011. He then returned to AACC, where he served as the team's offensive coordinator and face-off coach for three years. He then coached varsity at Severna Park's High School, where he helped the team win three State Championships in a row. He currently works at NSA. Walt Dearborn - 2024 Assistant Coach Walt played lacrosse and graduated from Old Mill High School in 2002. He then attended Towson University, earning his degree in Exercise Science. He was an assistant coach at Old Mill High School for two years and at AACC for three years and he was the head junior varsity coach at Severna Park for five years. He is currently the head freshman coach at Loyola Blakefield. He is a certified personal trainer and teaches Health Education at Towson University. Wade Oursler - 2024 Assistant Coach Wade graduated from Gilman in 2017, where he was a two-time All-MIAA Selection and two-time C. Markland Kelly Award nominee. He continued his career at Maryland and Delaware, graduating in 2020. Wade currently is an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Gilman. Jeff Schwartz - 2025 Head Coach Jeff graduated from Detroit Catholic Central in 1986 where he was an All-Midwest lacrosse defenseman and a Catholic League All-American in football. Jeff continued his lacrosse career at Princeton, playing for legendary coach Bill Tierney. As a four-year letterman, he helped lead his team to the NCAA semifinals during his senior year. Over the past 25 years, Jeff has coached youth and high school lacrosse in California, Michigan, and Maryland. James Margraff - 2025 Assistant Coach James graduated from McDonogh School in 2016, winning the MIAA Championship his senior year. He continued his lacrosse career as a defenseman at Rhodes College. At Rhodes, he was named Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-Conference, and SAA tournament MVP. James is currently a teacher and assistant varsity lacrosse coach at McDonogh School. Jake Scott - 2025 Assistant Coach Jake graduated from Conestoga High School in Berwyn, PA in 2014, where he was a 4-year letterwinner, captain of the team in his senior year, a member of back-to-back state championship teams, a US Lacrosse Academic All-American, and an Under Armour All-America Underclass. He also played for Mesa in Philadelphia for five years. He continued his career at Harvard, graduating in 2018, and recently received his Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Jake currently teaches English and is an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Gilman. Matt Wylly - 2026 Head Coach Matt graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School in Columbus, OH in 2013 where he earned All-American at midfield. He continued his lacrosse career at Towson University. During his senior year, he appeared in all 17 games and led his team to Final Four weekend in Foxborough. He earned his degree in International Business. Andy Goeller - 2026 Assistant Coach Andy graduated from Arundel High School in 1991 and played attack. He continued his career at AACC, reaching the JUCO National Championship game in 1994. He then played at Radford University, graduating in 1996. Kyle Griffith - 2026 Assistant Coach Kyle is currently a senior attackman at Severna Park High School. He will attend Air Force next year. Peter Papaleonti - 2027 Head Coach Peter is currently the Head Coach at Annapolis High School. He grew-up in the Annapolis area, played defense at Annapolis High School, and continued his career at Limestone College. During his time at Limestone, he played in three National Championship games, winning two of them back-to-back in 2014 and 2015. After graduating, he coached at his alma mater for three years focusing on defense, face-offs, and running the substitution box. During those three years, Limestone played in the National Championship game twice, winning it in 2017. Tony Bellotte - 2027 Assistant Coach Tony graduated from Severna Park High School and continued his career at Catawba. He ranks 5th in school history for goals in a single season. After graduating from Catawba, he served as a volunteer assistant for his alma mater. Kurt Klaus - 2027 Assistant Coach Kurt is currently a senior midfielder at Severna Park High School. Jack Stuzin - 2027 Assistant Coach Jack graduated from Gilman in 2020 where he was an Under Armour All-American, the #6 overall ranked player and #1 overall ranked defenseman by Inside Lacrosse, and a captain during his senior year. He just completed his freshmen year as a defenseman at Yale. Jack Tortolani - 2027 Assistant Coach Jack graduated from Gilman in 2020 where he was the Tyler Campbell Lacrosse Cup award winner and captain during his senior year. He just completed his freshmen year as an attackman at Denver. Mike Archer - 2028 Head Coach Mike grew-up in Fallston, Maryland and starting playing lacrosse in 6th grade. He played midfield at Fallston High School and helped lead his team to back-to-back state championship game appearances. He continue his career at Western Maryland College, which is now McDaniel College. For the past five years, Mike has coached for the Green Hornets, with an emphasis on player and program development. Travis Loving - 2029 Head Coach Travis is currently an assistant coach at Severna Park High School where he helped the team win the state championship in 2019. He served as the defensive coordinator and goalie coach at The Haverford School for 18 years. Coach Loving played goalie collegiately at Army for legendary coach Jack Emmer where he served as the team’s captain in 1996 and was a 3-time All-Patriot league selection. Coach Loving has coached 38 high school All-Americans, 11 Division I goalies, 11 Inter-Ac title teams, 5 Inter-Ac tournament title teams, 1 state championship team in 2005, and 2 undefeated national championship teams in 2011 and 2015. Connor Koistinen - 2029 Assistant Coach Connor is currently a senior midfielder at Severna Park High School. Bryan Deegan - 2029 Assistant Coach Bryan has had a lacrosse stick in his hand since he could walk and comes from a family deeply involved in the lacrosse community. He played for the Upstate NY lacrosse powerhouse, West Genesee High School, where he was on a team that contended numerous times for the New York State Class A State Championship. Bryan went on to play college lacrosse for Colgate University where he played Midfield. Bryan’s dad, Bob Deegan, coached men’s lacrosse for 40 years at West Genesee and went on to coach lacrosse professionally for the Premier Lacrosse League, in its inaugural year. Bryan lives in Severna Park and has coached both boys and girls lacrosse the last six years for the Green Hornets and the Bay Area Girls Lacrosse Club. Dave Livingston - 2029 Assistant Coach Dave attended Severna Park High School where he played midfield. He continued his career at Salisbury where he was a 3-time All-American and a North-South DIII participant in 1998. He has 10 years of club coaching experience for AYLA, the Annapolis Hawks, and Kooper's. Matt Agee - 2030 Co-Head Coach Matt attended Arundel High School where he played midfield. He continued his career at Salisbury where they won back-to-back National Championships in 1994 and 1995. Matt Hall - 2030 Co-Head Coach Matt attended Cape Henlopen High School where he was a three-time 1st Team All-State defenseman and a member of the 1998 State Championship team. He continued his career at UMBC and graduated in 2003. After college, he returned to Cape Henolpen and joined the coaching staff for several years and helped guide the team to a State Championship in 2006. Charlie Evans - 2030 Assistant Coach Charlie is currently a senior attackman at Severna Park High School. Chris Brown - 2031 Co-Head Coach Chris graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1991 where he was a member of the All-Metro team as a goalie. He continued his career at UNC and then at AACC where he led his team to the National Championship game, was a First Team All-American, and runner-up for National JUCO Player of the Year. He played his final year of college ball at UMBC where he served as captain of the team. After college, he coached at DeMatha High School, San Diego High School, and has coached youth lacrosse in Severna Park. Jimmy Brown - 2031 Co-Head Coach Jimmy graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1994 where he was a member of MIAA championship team in 1993 and the All-Metro team during his senior year. He continued his career at Loyola where he was a four-year starter in the goal. He lead his team to the Final Four during his junior year and was a Third Team All-American during his senior year. After college, he coached at San Diego High School and has coached youth lacrosse in Severna Park for three years. |
